Can be caught using the same fishing equipment as used for the mullet, but other bait must be used, whish is 2 long stem hooks of 1-1/0, 80-120g lead (Pater Noster). The main bait is the marine little fish (ceatal, aterina etc.), both fresh or salty.

The best period for plaice and turbot fishing is in november and in march.

Best places and turbot fishing areas are:

• Petromar Terminl beach;
• Midia southern pier (400-500m from the base);
• Navodari beach;
• Agigea southern pier;
• Vama Veche beach.
