Pirates Resort Hotel 3*** Mamaia (formerly Bicaz Hotel), reclassified to 3 stars, welcomes its tourists starting from the summer of 2016 with a new name and a new concept, friendly to both children and adults. Pitares resort hotel is a unique theme hotel, located in the northern part of the resort, just 10 meters from the sea, neighbouring Vega Appolo and Alcor hotels.
Built perpendicular to the seashore, Pirates Resort hotel it offers rooms and apartments with a view of the sea or with a view of the parking lot. Rooms are fitted with bathrooms with shower cabin, LCD TV, telephone, minibar, air conditioning, carpert flooring, hair dryer and balconies.
In addition to the accommodation spaces, Pirates Resort Hotel offers tourists a restaurant that serves dishes belonging to international cuisine, an outdoor terrace overlooking the sea and surrounded by green space, a completly renovated bar and a playground for children.
The hotel's pool, Blue Laguna, has heated water starting with the 1st of June and is the ideal place for both relaxing, as well as for theme events in the Pirates resort spirit. It also features a children's pool with a 60 cm depth.
All common spaces and rooms have wi fi internet connexion.

Standard double rooms are set with matrimonial bed (180x190) or two united twin beds (90x190), LCD TV, cable TV, minibar, air conditioning, carpeting, international telephone, double glazed windows, bathrooms with shower and hair dryer, balcony equipped with plastic tables and chairs, Wi-Fi internet.
The superior double rooms are completely renovated in 2018-2019 in the same theme as the privilege rooms (each room represents the style of the pirate crew members: captain, navigator, gunner, etc.). They are situated at the ground floor, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd floor. They are set with matrimonial bed (180x190). The rooms do not have a sea view.
The superior apartments were completely renovated in 2018-2019 in the same theme as the privileged rooms (each room represents the style of the members of the pirate crew: captain, navigator, gunner, etc). They consist of a living room equipped with a semi-extendable sofa and a matrimonial bedroom. They have the same amenities as the double rooms and are located at the 1st and 2nd floors, in both wings.
The Privilege double rooms and Privilege Apartments are located in the building facing Vega Hotel (with a side view of the sea) on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd floors, they are completely renovated in 2017-2018, they have a high level of comfort and are themed (each room represents the style of the pirate crew members: captain, navigator, gunner, etc.). Privilege rooms are equipped with a matrimonial bed (180x190). The apartments consist of a living room with semi-extendable sofa and a matrimonial bedroom. They have the same amenities as the standard double room.
The Bunk Bed double rooms are located in the Blue building on the ground floor, 1st, 2nd and 3rd floors, they are completely renovated in 2019-2020, they are equipped with a matrimonial bed (180x190) and a bunk bed intended for children, they are themed (each room represents the style of the members of the pirate crew: captain, navigator, gunner, etc.) and will address families with children (room capacity 2 adults and 2 children). The rooms do not have a sea view.
Superior Bunk bed double room has the exact same amenities as the other bunk bed rooms, but is located in the Orange wing, at the ground floor.
The extra bed (expandable type) cannot be accommodated in the apartments.

Services

THE OUTDOOR POOL WITH HEATED WATER operates between 01.06-13.09.2026. The water temperature in the pool is a minimum of 24 degrees and a maximum of 30 degrees regardless of the period.
The meal services between 01.07-31.08.2026 are served as Swedish buffet (breakfast and lunch). If the guests number is not met, then meals will be served in an A la carte system.
The half board pack includes breakfast and lunch in buffet style (the lunch will additionally include non-alcoholic drinks (tea, coffee, water, soft drinks) and domestic alcoholic drinks (draft beer, house wine and alcoholic spirits produced in Romania) for 01.07.-31.08. For 01.06-30.06 and 01.09-06.09 the prices with half board include breakfast and lunch in account system.
The Black pirates pack contains full board services, served A la carte, in account system, 2 free sun beds/room on the beach and free parking upon availability.
The All inclusive GOLD PIRATE pack, between 01.07-31.08.2026, consists of breakfast (07.00-10.00), lunch (12.30-14.30) and dinner (19.00-21.00) in buffet style, intermediate snack (pastries between 16.30-17.30), soft drinks, water, draft juices from the Pepsi range, Lipton, tea and coffee served in the terrace between 10.00-22.00, alcoholic beverages: house wine, draft beer, vodka, whiskey, liqueur, brandy, aperitifs served in the All Inclusive bar between 10.00-22.00 , free access to the events on the Pirates Island terrace, swimming pool, mini club, free access to the Pirates Beach with 2 sunbeds/room (available until 08.09), free parking.
All the drinks are not bottled.
At check-in, tourists will receive bracelets for identification.
